Mayor Espinosa became controversial,after he surrendered himself to the PNP, admitting that he was protecting a drug lord in his town which was he later,revealed was his son, Kerwin Espinosa. He urged his son to surrender but Kerwin is still at large until today.
Another casualty was a young,companion of Bato, who was identified as a student. According to the police, the victim was driving when unknown assailants fired at him.
Meanwhile, Mayor Espinosa has gotten,back to his work after no formal charges were charged against him. He then met with the newly minted,Chief of police at Albuera, Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido. Espinosa shared that they had a,meeting which went on for two days.
