LOOK: 'Druglords' Odicta Couple Shot Dead in Aklan

Two days after the naming of the PNP Director General Ronald Dela Rosa that Melvin Odicta AKA “Dragon” is the notorious drug lord in Iloilo City, A businessman along with his wife were shot dead at the morning of Monday at Catiklan, Aklan port.

The couple were recognized by the PDEA via their IDs found with them. S/Supt John Mitchelle Jamili said that Melvin and his wife were going through the walkway of the port terminal from a RO-R) vessel when they were shot by unidentified gunmen at around 1:30 AM Monday.

Jamili said the they tried to save the couple by bringing them to the nearest hospital, Malay District Hospital in Aklan but were later declared dead on arrival by the attending Physician. The Odicta went to Interior Secretary Ismael “Mike’ Sueno and denied the allegations. However, PNP Chief Bato discharged and stood firm on his statements that they are indeed drug lords operating in Ilo-Ilo City.
