“All of the people involved in the, matter will be investigated so that we can have a clearer picture,” House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez stated on,Thursday, calling all personalities that could give preferences on the prevalence of illegal drugs in the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).

Investigations involving illegal drug trade, inside the NBP during current Senator Leila De Lima’s term as Secretary of Justice, were contained,in House Resolution No. 105 with Alvarez being the principal author.

“We will continue to uncover the reason behind the proliferation of illegal drugs during (De Lima’s) term as justice secretary,” he said.

Even without the participation of Senator,De Lima, the House according to Alvarez will push through with the investigation seeking out the truth, behind illegal drug trades in prison.

“We won’t oblige her (De Lima) to attend. It is entirely up to her because of the existing rule called inter-parliamentary courtesy. We will provide that; we will respect that,” the House Speaker said.

The upcoming House probe seeks to find out,why illegal drug trades took place inside the NBP and not specifically made against,Dela Lima, says Alvarez.

Alvarez also added that the personalities who were involved and listed in President Duterte’s “matrix” would also be summoned forth on the next probe.

Pangasinan 5th District Rep. Amado,Espino, Jr., former Pangasinan governor was also allegedly involved and was one of the seven individuals, present in President Duterte’s “matrix” but the House according to Alvarez would dig through deeper investigations, regarding the illegal drug trade in NBP, giving him an opportunity to state his side.

“We have to look into that. We have proper committees to further inspect this problem,” Alvarez said.
