Dela Rosa to Cops: Kill Resisting Criminals, Worry About Human Rights Cases Later

Despite the ongoing senate hearing on alleged extrajudicial killings, PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa said last Monday, August 22, 2016, that the PNP should prioritize their safety in their operations and to not hesitate to kill the resisting criminals. He gave his message before the members of Calabarzon policemen in Camp Vicente Lim in Laguna.

He also took the opportunity to commend Senior Police Officer Roberto Lacasa and Police Officer 1 Teddy delos Santos, who got wounded after an operation.

Having that said, he still reminded the policemen not to violate suspects' human right as he assured the Senate that the PNP does not 'condone extrajudicial killings'.
