Speaking at Camp Crame, Duterte exposed the female senator’s affair with her driver who supposedly had links with the druglords at the New Bilibid Prisons in Muntinlupa.
“Here is a senator complaining when one day I will tell you on how her driver himself who was her lover was the one collecting money for her during the campaign,” Duterte said.
Although he did not name the senator, Duterte called the lawmaker as “an immoral wowan.” The woman he is alluding to is Sen. Leila de Lima.
” As far as the wife of the driver is concerned, its adultery—here is a woman who funded the house of her lover,” Duterte said.
The President of the Philippines said that revealing the names of the government officials is a part of his duty.
De Lima was teary eyed when she was interviewed by the Press about the revelation of the President and she said that he must double checked all the information that he received.
