As Duterte approaches Ethan, he asked the young boy to hug him and introduce to everyone he’s new found friend and together they make a fist-bump gesture just like everybody does who loves the President.
As soon as Duterte started to talk to him, Ethan cannot utter any words and seems surprised that he’s finally talking the President in person not only through his walkie-talkie.
Duterte: This is my office, it’s called the People’s Palace.
Ethan: Yeah.
Duterte: When are you going home?
Ethan: Later. You’re gonna get the bad guys
Duterte: I heard you all around, you come back to the Philippines when you grow up na.
And just before they start to play peekaboo game, Duterte told Ethan:
