Lucio Tan, Chairman and COO of Philippine,Airlines partakes in the NAIA decongestion through pulling out his private jets.

He has released the statement after the,government decided to move out general aviation to different airports in order to decongest the airport. Arthur Tugade, Secretary,of Transportation told that in accordance to the plan, over-all aviation,operations will be removed; along with these are air charter, air cargo, aircraft maintenance,and aviation training, to be able to free up to 22% of aviation space to flights for commerce. 

"This declaration of support includes moving out of NAIA my small fleet of private jets as gesture of compliance to the Department of Transportation initiative."

"Any measure to reduce air traffic congestion,at NAIA will not only improve airlines' flight schedule reliability but also enhance,passenger convenience." Tan said in behalf of PAL
