Gina Lopez, Environment Secretary, warns,Chinese mining companies to leave the Philippines. She had recently had five Chinese,companies closed down due to its illegalities.
She noted that majority of the,environmental offenders are Chinese.
She noted that the process of allowing,foreign mining companies in the Philippines will be intensified more than ever and that she will take charge in,doing so. She also noted that Department of Environment and Natural Resources or DENR, won't be approving contacts and mining permits.
