Another successful rescue done by the government security,forces last weekend with the abducted teacher in Indanan Sulu last June. The teacher was allegedly forced to marry one her captors.

The teacher, Ratina Abubakar, was rescued by the,41st Infantry Battalion under Joint Task Force Sulu when the vehicle she was riding was held,at a checkpoint on July 9 according to a statement released by the Armed Forces of the Philippines,Western Mindanao Command. 
The Westmincom said the Abubakar,screamed for help and hinted the troops they she was being held as hostage when the vehicle underwent,the checkpoint. Her captors were identified as Lauril Susulan, Basar Saudan, Jipy Susulan, Salim Susulan,and Salma Saudan. They were brought to the camp of 12th Light Armored Calvary,Troops for further questioning. 


The 23-year old Abubakar revealed that,these,men captured her Last June 20 while she was on her way to the school she was teaching in, Kanlangay Elementary School. She was then brought to the Barangay Hall in Kanlangay, Kalingalan,Caluang, Sulu. She also shared in the initial debriefing that she was forced to marry one her captors, Salim in Muslim Rites on June 27.

Suspects are now being turned over by,the said troops into the Indanan municipal police station. Abubakar, on the other hand, reunited,with family.
