This deteriorated footbridge connecting,villages of Mansaya and Loboc was allegedly built in 2009 by a congressman according to,Iloilo city mayor. Shockingly the footbridge took a year before it was finished and none only that, it allegedly costed 1 million pesos.
The mayor promises to build a much,better bridge for the people of the villages however it might take time before he can fulfill since the current,budget for the city had already been allocated.
For the meantime, he have ordered his men,to make a temporary bridge while to replace the former footbridge that have,collapsed in to the river.
As of now, netizens are questioning,the unnamed congressman on where the money truly went considering that the footbridge surel,couldn't have worth as much as a million pesos.
