Aiza Seguerra is one of the staunches supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte during the campaign period.
But some people believes that what the President said was not a joke but a warning to his soldiers to avoid committing crimes during Martial Law because he would held liable for all the violations that they may made.
“‘Pag naka-rape ka ng tatlo, aminin ko na akin ‘yun (If you rape three times, I’ll take the blame).” President Rodrigo Duterte said.
The remarks of President Rodrigo Duterte received criticisms from women rights groups and from the international community.
Malacañang Palace also explained the rape joke of President Rodrigo Duterte and they said that he’s only speaking with ‘heightened bravado’.
Spokesperson Abella also said that Duterte would take complete responsibility for the actions of the AFP and even ‘exaggeratedly describing crimes like taking a fourth wife,’
