The Huay Kwang police were alerted to the alleged hit and run incident involving Anna, who was spotted 500 meters from a pub and took her to the police station.
Her BMW Z4 was damaged on the right side of the front bumper.
According to The Star, Police Lt-Colonel Alongkot Tubchom said the 30-year-old model-actress was apparently under the influence of alcohol and was crying and could not properly give a testimony.
Alongkot said he was informed by a pub that the actress allegedly got drunk and destroyed property before trying to flee in her car, which crashed into the rear of a vehicle of a customer of the business.
She became aggressive and started shouting when reporters and cameramen arrived at the police station.
Anna has been released on 20,000 baht bail after her bad behavior.
Following a finger pointing rant after her arrest, the police have taken pity on the celebrity and will not be charging her with defamation and insulting the force.
Her relatives arrived with cash to get her out of the Huay Kwang cells as she sobbed about her stressful life, reported Thai Rath.
She cried in front of the media, saying that she was facing personal and family problems and needed a rest. She said that this latest incident was very tiring.
She added that the collision with the other car was a result of stress making her “unaware of her surroundings.”
Anne Reese previously made headlines in 2015 when she accidentally killed a resting cop who had parked his car on a motorway in Prawes district.
She crashed into the cop’s vehicle with her Mercedes-Benz and the officer died at the scene.
The police failed to conduct an alcohol test on her, and did not take legal action against her.
