25-year-old Amanda Alvear, one of Omar,Mateen's victims, was posting videos to social media when Mateen suddenly,fought his way into the club and opened fire. Alvear recorded a number of,Snapchat clips from,inside Pulse Nightclub, innocently having fun with,her friends.
But in the last seconds,of the video, Amanda was recording herself as dozen of gun shots are,heard in the background. The survivors,said that, at first, everyone thought that those shots were actually a part,of the DJ's music that was playing.
So in the,beginning, like clubgoers, Amanda was not panicked by,the gunfire.
Alvear was killed,during the standoff, her sister commented on the video I'm so heartbroken. You could make anyone's day,with the smile of yours.
