LOOK: Suspected Davao Bomber Maguindanao Vice Mayor Sabal Is A Member Of The Liberal Party

Talitay, Maguindanao Vice Mayor Abdulwaha Sabal who was nabbed for carrying 12 sachets of shabu, an M16 rifle and an improvised explosive device similar to what was used in the Davao Blast was a member of the Liberal party, the political party of Mar Roxas and Senator Leila De Lima, both political rivals of President Rodrigo Duterte.

It is still not confirmed that Sabal was indeed the mastermind behind the blast since PNP Chief Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa asked for more time for to investigate the matter.

“We received information of his links in the Davao bombing, but this is just information. It is yet to be validated,” the police official was quoted saying.
Both Mayor and Vice Mayor of Talitay are brothers and both ran under the Liberal Party, the political party of Mar Roxas and Senator Leila De Lima, both political rivals of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Mayor Montasir Sabal already admitted that he had ties with the illegal drug trade when he was still a police office but that’s not the case after he won a public office.
“I was once into illegal drug trade when I was still a police officer, but when I entered politics and won, I immediately stopped,” said Sabal, who was reelected to his third and last term as mayor last May.
