Saying that he is not a lapdog of the United States, President Duterte brought up anew history when Americans slaughtered Moro people during their occupation in the country before the President left for the ASEAN summit in Laos this afternoon.
Obama maybe considered as the leader of the new World Order, but Duterte said he is answerable only to the Filipino people in terms of the issue of drug-related killings.
Angered anew by the issue of extra-judicial killings in the country, Duterte said he will not bow down to US President Obama in case their meeting pushes through at the sidelines of the summit.
“The Philippines is not a vassal state, we have long ceased as colony of the united States. Marami dyan sa kulmnista,they look upon Obama as if we are the lapdogs of this country,” he said at a briefing before departure at the Davao International Airport.
