According to Department of Public Works and Highways, two new lanes of Laguna Lake Highway will be opened to the public on Thursday.
“The opening of the additional two lanes from Napindan to M. L. Quezon section in Taguig City is the first phase of the Laguna Lake Highway project, which is expected to reduce travel time from taytay to Bicutan by about 50 percent,” DPWH Secretary Mark Villar said.
“With this highway, the traffic from EDSA and C5 will be greatly reduced”. He added.
The total budget for the road is P1.2289 billion, which covers the construction of widening of the 10.7 kilometer network road.
The whole project is expected to be completed by December, DPWH Secretary said.
