Delos Reyes received fatal shots in the head, chest and abdomen which caused his immediate death.
According to the reports, Delos Reyes tried to snatch a jail guard gun while inside his prison cell which prompted the police to fire at him.
People inside the vicinity claimed to have heard more than 10 gunshots at around 3pm.
Delos Reyes was arrested in his apartment in Indang Cavite last Tuesday, January 10.
He recently confessed to the killing and begged for forgiveness to the family of the victim.
"Dumilim ang paningin ko. Nagtalo po kami, nag-away po kami, nagkasakitan po kami... Makikipagbalikan po sana," said Delos Angeles.
"Humihingi po ako ng dispensa sa magulang ni Mitzy, kamag-anak, sana mapatawad niyo ako. Lalo na sa mga kaibigan ko sa Teatro," he added.
As of this time, investigations regarding foul play is ongoing.
