Controversial blogger and MTRCB board member Margaux Justiniano Uson (Mocha Uson) made a post on Facebook on Sunday answering the question as to why the president’s surname is attached to the Duterte’s Kitchen.
[Asking why the word ‘Duterte’ is present in Duterte’s Kitchen and why I’m not accosting LGUs, here’s the answer.]
The blogger clarified that she’s not accosting the Local Government Units (LGU) as the previous posts were sent only by their constituents who felt tired of their leaders and she’s giving them space on her blog as it’s the people’s voice.
She further explained that Duterte’s Kitchen is an NGO [non-government organization] and the funds and foods are coming from voluntary donations from President Rodrigo Duterte’s supporters and not from the people’s tax; also clarified that it is not even Duterte’s project.
[In other words, it’s not the people’s money that’s being used there unlike with the assistance provided by the Mayors and Congressmen in your area. IT’S YOUR MONEY SO THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAKE THE CREDIT.]
She ends her post with emphasis; saying to critics that “now you know the difference between EPALITIKO and DUTERTE’s KITCHEN.”
