The newly inaugurated president flew to Davao,city last July 1, 2016 (Friday) after his inauguration ceremony last Thursday, June 30,of 2016. He spent his weekend there to rest however flew back to Manila due to his many commitments as the,President. This week is the official start of the President as full-time chief executive.
Despite the heavy traffic in the city plus the,tiring plane ride, Duterte said that he might fly back and forth from Manila to Davao while governing the,Philippines in a 4 days in Manila, 3 days in Davao setting. However, this may not be the case once the,work pile comes in for the President.
