This statements was made to answer questions,regarding a video spreading in social media that shows Robredo and Bautista leaving a,building almost the same time.
Robredo denies the allegations,and called it ‘malicious’, saying that they were attending a dinner party with around 40 guests and,Bautista was one of them.
“I attended a dinner party with,around 40 guests. One of the guest was Comelec Chairman Bautista, but I don’t remember talking to him, we just greeted each other.” Robredo said.
“There were a lot of guest there like US Ambassador Goldberg, Ombudsman Morales, there were a lot of people at that diner party, it wasn’t a secret meeting” Rebredo added.
Bautista also denies the allegation,and confirms that it was a special diner party.
“It was a social event. There were more than 30 people who were there. Walang secret meeting. In fact, I just said hello to VP, we didn’t talk. Kalokohan ‘yan,” he said.
“Makikita mong ‘yung sinasabi na secret, hindi secret at all… It was just a gathering,” Bautista added.
