Teddy Locsin calls VP Robredo an ‘idiot’ for considering the decriminalization of Shabu and other illegal drugs

Phillipines representative for the United Nations Teddy Locsin slammed Vice President Leni Robredo after he heard the news that the lady politician considered the decrimnalization of illegal drugs like shabu or methamphetamine in the Philippines.

In a forum in the University of the Philippines, she urged the student to offer an alternative to the government’s war on drugs like decriminalizing the possession of illegal drugs.

The Vice President mentioned Portugal as an example of a ‘triumphant’ action against illegal drugs by decriminalizing the possession of it and focus in rehabilitating them.

“Why don’t we look at the best practices and try them, because we have enough lessons in the past from other countries to determine what works and what doesn’t,” she told the students of U.P

But Teddy Locsin didn’t like the suggestion of the Vice President and he labeled the lady politician as ‘idiot’ on his twitter post.

In his tweet, Locsin said that legalizing illegal drugs is like legalizing the drug-related crimes like rape and murder.

“This woman is a real idiot. Let’s legalize murder while we’re at it and rape as well. Legalize use you cartelize pushing,” Locsin said in his tweet.

Locsin also claimed that the Vice President ‘proposed legalizing drug use to legalize drug pushing’, but the supporters of Leni Robredo said that decriminalizing is different in legalizing.

In his another post, Locsin said that he praised some of the characteristics of Robredo, but it made him disappointed that the Vice President is now pushing the decriminalization of illegal drugs.

Several Pro-Duterte bloggers also reacted on the statements of the Vice President including Sass Rogando Sassot who schooled the lady politician on her post.

She said that Robredo doesn’t know that like Portugal the Philippine Law already required the arrested drug addicts to face rehabilitation program in a government center for the first offense.

The blogger also told the Vice President that countries like Mexico failed the drug war because of the government neglect, she set the Espinosas of Leyte as an example of a powerful and armed drug pusher.

Blogger RJ Nieto also reacts on the statement of the Vice President and he said that the Robredo should snort shabu on live television.
