According to reports from the Philippine Embassy to Qatar led by Ambassador Alan L. Timbayan, there are around 222,712 Filipinos with valid working visas staying in Qatar. They are also the 4th largest foreign community that has greatly contributed to the state’s development, especially in the fields of construction, oil and gas, hospitality, and health care services.
