Open Letter to the Office of the Vice President of the Philippines — Leni Robredo

Social media activist and well-know blogger Sass Rogando Sassot on Friday posted an open letter to the Office of the Vice President of the Philippines — Leni Robredo regarding the unexplained disappearance of former Naga City Councilor Emilio Aguinaldo, a critic of former DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo.

Dear Office of the Vice President of the Philippines:

Ako po si Emilio Aguinaldo. Di po ako #1 drug personality na katulad ni Chinglo na kapatid ni Jackpot na naging presiding officer ng Naga Dangerous Drug Board at tumakbo under ng Ubos-Kung-Ubos Party ng inyo pong yumaong asawa.

Ako po'y nagsampa ng kasong graft laban sa inyong asawa sa Ombudsman. Ako po'y nawawala since June 8, 2008. Huli po akong nakita noong ako po'y papunta ng Manila para i-follow up ko po ang mga kasong aking isinampa laban po sa inyong asawa (Reference: https://tinyurl.com/hjzm3nh).

Ayaw ko po kayong manahimik, Madame Leni. Gusto ko po kayong magsalita na para po ako'y mahanap na finally ng mga otoridad. Ngayon po kayo'y Vice President na, baka po maari na ninyong gamitin ang inyong mga resources para po ako'y mahanap na.

On Friday, an hour before the #NagaLeaks expose were published by We are Collective Facebook page, Vice President Leni Robredo already released a statement regarding the issue.

"I have been quite vocal about my views on certain matters in the past weeks. Sunud-sunod na ang threat sa akin na kung hindi ka hihinto, titirahin na namin ikaw. Hindi nga ako huminto.Sabi nila abangan ninyo na ngayong araw, lalabas na lahat ng pagtitira sa iyo. So kung mahina ang aking loob, hihinto nalang ako para ma-spare ang sarili ko, ma-spare ang pamilya ko sa paninira. Pero kung tatahimik ako at tatahimik din ang lahat ng nangangahas na ipahayag ang kanyang saloobin, papaano na ang ating bansa? When deceit is forced upon you, resist it with your right to dissent." said Robredo.

“They can‘t silence us.” Robredo said to the reporters.

"Nobody's silencing you. In fact, we want you to speak up. Ano totoo ba na drug protector kayo? Totoo na marami kayong tagong yaman at undeclared assets? Kilala namin lahat ng dummy ni Jess. At hindi pa namin pinapangalanan. Totoo ba na pinaligpit ninyo si Ka Emil? Na sainyo ang Lansbergh Place? At isa pang malaking gusali sa timog pwera nun?"

"Please Leni indulge us. Blanket denials won't work. We want detailed answers.We'll be waiting," stated the We are Collective Facebook page.

The We are Collective Facebook page already clarified that the expose wasn't revealed and published to vilify Leni Robredo or besmirch Jesse’s previously untarnished reputation.

As of this writing, the Office of the Vice President has not yet release any statement pertaining to the curious case of former councilor Emilio Aguinaldo of Naga City.
