A very controversial video published by a seemingly Marcos propagandist, ‘Bring back the glory of our nation. Ferdinand Marcos JR for President‘ Facebook fan page, which is now being talked about in the social media.<br />

Although it was published on April of 2015, it is still a very intriguing topic to talk about.<br />
<br />
This is about the hidden wealth of the Marcoses, which are considered as ill-gotten wealth, according the past governments of the Philippines after the Marcos regime.<br />
<br />
The documentary video says that Marcos obtained a very huge amount of gold, estimating to more than a million metric tons of gold bars.<br />
<br />
In the video is Karen Hudes, an eminent former lawyer of World Bank, talking to a guy who looks like a journalist.<br />
<br />
Hudes said:<br />

“The world Bank and IMF are very special organization. They are sitting on the top of the world’s health, which was put into a secret account and it has more gold than anybody knows about. And it is cloaked locked in secrecy. The bankers do not own that money. It’s held in benefit of humanity.”<br />
<br />
Hudes added that more than half of the overwhelming amount of gold are mostly kept in the Philippines.<br />
<br />
It’s hard to say whether this is mere speculation or a simple conspiracy theory. There were many instances that Imelda Marcos even told the media that there is indeed gold that were obtained by the her husband, the late former President Ferdinand Marcos. But that she cleared out that the gold are in the hands of the Philippine government and the World Bank. So, according to her, the gold is not with them anymore, since the Marcos regime was toppled down in 1986.<br />

From 1866 to 1898 , Prince Julian Macleod Tallano, who became titleholder of OCT 01-4 in 1864 – ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE OF TITLE 01-4 PROTOCOL ,The number 01 refers to the ONE NATION, known in pre – Hispanic times as MAHARLIKA. The number 4 refers to the original four regions og this nation:(1) Luzon (2) Visayas (3) Mindanao (4) Palawan , has been frequenting the Vatican.<br />

In 1934, under Pope PiusXII , the Vatican negotiated with the member of the Filipino Royal Family, the Christian Tallano clan in Maharlika. An agreement was reached that 640,000 metric tons of the Tallano gold would be LENT to the Pope. This was part of that gold accumulated by the Southeast Asian Srivijayan/Madjapahit Empire during its glorious reign of 900 years.<br />

In 1939, two members of the Tallano family and Roman Catholic Priest , Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz brought the gold from Kota Kinabalu , Sabah to the Vatican.<br />

After doing this, Fr Diaz went back to the Maharlika and resided in Cabanatuan City.<br />

After World War II , he facilitated the safe return of the 640,000 metric tons of GOLD from the Vatican tovthe Maharlika .Manuel Acuna Roxas( relative of the Acuna/ Tagean/ Tallano clan), then a congressman, and Bishop Enrique Sobrepena Sr, in the presence of Atty. Lorenzo Tanada, RECEIVED the gold in Manila.<br />

There is good reason to believe, even from further along in this account , that the young attorney FERDINAND E. MARCOS was involved in the return of the GOLD. Certainly by all accounts we have seen jt was Ferdinand Marcos and Diaz who shared in the enormous 30% commission- that is 192,000 TONS of Gold worth around $4 TRILLION today(2006) – for handling this transaction.<br />

WHO CAN SAY THIS WEALTH WAS ” ILL- GOTTEN”?<br />

A lease agreement was made between the Tallano clan and the Maharlika government. A total of 640,000 metric tons of gold was deposited in the newly installed Central Bank of the Maharlika to comply with its requirement for GOLD RESERVE. Under the terms of the contract , the Central Bank became the HOLDER of that gold. That LEASE agreement will EXPIRE in the year 2005.<br />

The Tallano Foundation has given notice of the termination of this 50 year lease following the additional 5 year discretionary period on December 31,2005 but remains unable to obtain an inventory of this asset even though the CENTRAL BANK( now Bangko Sentral Pilipinas ) is no longer entitled to HOLD the gold.<br />

Having gained the trust and confidence of Fr Diaz, the Tallano clan made him the main negotiator and trustee of their gold. Fr Diaz in turn, hired the services of ATTY. FERDINAND E MARCOS. , then a RECOMMENDED BRILLIANT YOUNG LAWYER having attained notoriety when he successfully defended himself in the ” NALUNDASAN CASE” in 1939.<br />
<br />
Tha TALLANO clan paid commission to Fr. Diaz and Atty .Marcos in gold, 30% From the principal of 640, 000 metric tons.<br />

<br />
In 1949. The two richest men in the world were Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz and Atty. Ferdinand E. Marcos . Between the two of them they legitimately earned and owned 192,000 metric tons of GOLD- from TALLANO CLAN and Maharlika Government.<br />

Ferdinand Marcos withdrew their share of the gold from the Central Bank and minted it ” RP -CB”. Sometime later, Fr.Diaz and Marcos brought their gold to SWITZERLAND , in the SWISS BANK CORPORATION in Zurich.<br />

The remaining 400,000 metric tons of TALLANO GOLD- ( Prince Lacan Acuna Macleod Tallano- son of Rajah Soliman Tagean and grandson of Maharajah Luisong Tagean) is in the third floor basement of the CENTRAL BANK MINTING PLANT in East Ave. Quezon City.<br />

There are 950,000 metric tons of Gold (declearedmissing in the International Court of Justice) picked up by Yamshita from its European ally, Hitler.<br />

Let’s review some numbers at this point because there are certainly some unexplained LOSSES along the way.<br />

The Tagean- Tallano gold started at 720,000 tons . 640,000 tons were transported to the Vatican and back, leaving 80,000 tons unaccounted from the outset.<br />

Out of 640,000 tons, 192,000 tons were paid in commission, which should be leave 448,000 tons- but somehow hat number as become 400,000 tons , leaving another 48,000 tons unaccounted.<br />

Following this story there are 128,000 (80,000 plus 48,000) tons of gold which somehow ” slipped through the cracks” in addition to 192,000 earned in commission, WHEREABOUTS UNKNOWN.. Opppsss!!!<br />

Out of the remaining 400,000 tons we do not know how much remains. We know there was an effort to do a major ” disappearing act” when the old Central Bank morphed into the new Bangko Sentral Pilipinas- but a recent decision of the SUPREME COURT ( Banco Filipino versus BSP ) has upheld that BSP is responsible for the liabilities of the old Central Bank.<br />

The POINT is that ultimately , a complete accounting should show where ALL of the original 720, 000 tons WENT- not to mention estimated 1.2 MILLION tons of Yamashita treasure ( combined German and Japanese plunder) identified above ( that is very nearly TWO MILLION TONS OF GOLD worth more than $38 TRILLION at todays price 2006)<br />

The phony, CIA backed EDSA ” PEOPLE POWER ” exhibition of 1986 had one primary purpose and that was to take this vast QUANTITY OF GOLD from the Philippines and the FILIPINO PEOPLE for the benefit of the INTERNATIONAL BANKING CARTEL to enslave mankind.<br />

WHAT ABOUT FR. DIAZ COMMISSION SHARED WITH FERDINAND MARCOS?<br />

When Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz , died in 1974 all the 30% COMMISSION in gold became the legendary ” MARCOS GOLD” . After providing for his family in Marcos ‘ Letter of Instruction, the whole wealth derived from this was supposed to be given to the FILIPINO PEOPLE . This was the “MARCOS WEALTH” that some POLITICIAN and CHURCHMEN kept on saying was the:<br />

WHY THIS WEALTH HAS BEEN LABELED ” ILL – GOTTEN ” a little further along in our STUDY , that unti today is in MARCOS SECRET ACCOUNTS.<br />

– On April 9, 1973 Marcos said: “MY EARTHLY GOODS HAVE BEEN PLACED IN THE CUSTODY AND FOR THE DISPOSITION OF THE MARCOS FOUNDATION DEDICATED TO THE WELFARE OF THE FILIPINO PEOPLE.”<br />

In his GRAND PLAN, MARCOS wanted to RE ESTABLISHED the former grandeur of MAHARLIKA and the whole region of SOUTHEAST ASIA , the former MALAYAN EMPIRE.<br />
<br />
In June 1983, Marcos appeared before the First World leaders in Toronto. He announced his plan to boost economy of the Southeast Asia Region by creating ASIAN DOLLAR. This would be backed up by the 400,000 metric tons of gold in Central Bank.<br />

The ASIAN DOLLAR , backed up by the two thirds of all gold in the world that was in the Maharlika. Would made the Maharlika money more valuable and stronger that the American dollar. This was his vision to raise Southeast Asia to be par with the rest of the first world countries.<br />

There is plenty of solid evidence of a program MARCOS worked on with American President Ronald Reagan, which referred to as the ABL ( ANG BAGONG LIPUNAN) program. Under this program some 250 sets of gold , documentation and related ABL currency were to be shipped to various countries around the world.<br />

—-WHAT BECAME OF THE REMAINING 400,000 metric TONS PERTAINING TO THE TAGEAN – TALLANO CLAN and where is it today?<br />

To this day, the 400,000 metric tons of GOLD are still in the CENTRAL BANK in East Avenue , Quezon City. NOBODY CAN MOVE it because Marcos insured it with the LLOYDS OF LONDON and its agents are guarding it.<br />

Not only have SUCCESSIVE GOVERNMENTS of the Philippines failed to ACKNOWLEDGE the existence of the GOLD, they have CONSPIRED to keep this information from being KNOWN to the Filipino People.<br />

We assume this is because they have been working at ways to convert the GOLD for their own selfish gain, probably in conspiracy with the International Banking Cartel.<br />

Immediately after Ferdinand Marcos was REMOVED from the office by a U.S MILITARY helicopter , the NEWLY installed PRESIDENT CORAZON AQUINO , formed the PCGG- Presidential Commission on Good Government, PURPORTEDLY to go after the Marcos – ILL GOTTEN WEALTH.<br />

A decision of the FEDERAL SUPREME COURT OF SWITZERLAND dated December 21,1990 said……”… By decision of May 29,1986 , the attorney general of District of Zurich accepted in principle to the legal assistance requested by the PHILIPPINES and invited all the banks of the City of Zurich to FREEZE IMMEDIATELY all the accounts, deposits or safes of the persons, companies or foundations ( of MARCOS) in the order….”<br />

THE ACCOUNTS WERE FROZEN at the request of the government of the Philippines and the PCGG has ensured they have remained FROZEN to this day.<br />
<br />

This is all a GRAND SCHEME OR SCAM. BLINDED Filipinos must keep repeating that MARCOS was a THEIF ( MAGNANAKAW) so that those HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of DOLLARS of Marcos Money will remain FROZEN and not be given to them for their use..<br />

Consequently, they MUST CONSTANTLY BORROW MONEY from International Monetary Fund( IMF) and World Bank ( WB) with SO MUCH INTEREST so that this COUNTRY WILL REMAIN A SLAVE and SHACKLED to the foreign powers.<br />

HISTORY will show that the money was not stashed away and inaccessible but AVAILABLE to truly deserving Filipinos.<br />

Three recovered letters of the late Eugenio Lopez Sr to late President Ferdinand Marcos showed that the former offered to sell the Lopez' shares in the Manila Electric Company during the Martial Law years.<br />
<br />
The letters according to a report in 2008, were published by the Marcoses in the book "Let the  Marcos Truth Prevail" would disprove the rumors that the Marcos administration sequestered Meralco from the Lopez family.<br />
<br />
Maki Pulido in GMA's Saksi reported that the first letter dating February 1973 shows Lopez informing Marcos that the family is planning to sell their shares to Meralco foundation, which was made up of Meralco employees and customers.<br />
<br />
An excerpt of the said letter read: "... would like to offer sale of our holdings to a cooperative composed of Meralco employees, customers and the general public that could be organized with the assistance of the government."<br />
<br />
Lopez Sr. proposed a financial scheme that will move to the foundation more than 100 million pesos worth of debt by the the Lopezes to banks.<br />

An excerpt of the letter read: "I hope Mr President, that you could spare some time from your more pressing duties of State to help us and to give this proposal your sympathetic consideration."<br />
<br />
The sale of Meralco's share by the Lopezes pushed through in 1978 at the price of more than P800 million. However, when the Marcoses were driven out of Malacanang, the Lopezes were able to regain their shares without paying for a single cent.<br />
<br />
Then defense minister Juan Ponce Enrile expressed disbelief at the turn of events.<br />
<br />
"I thought it would've been better if they allowed the Sandiganbayan to decide the issue of whether this (Meralco) is ill-gotten wealth or not," he said.<br />
<br />
Then executive secretary Joker Arroyo said that Meralco was in fact owned by Lopezes yet there were no written documents because it was a sequestered asset.<br />
<br />
Former president and then senator Benigno Aquino III then said that it was the Supreme Court that ruled in 1991 to give the property back to the Lopezes their shares that were unpaid by the Meralco foundation.<br />
<br />
"He (Enrile) is a member of the government and if he feels that my mother did something wrong, then the courts are open," he said.<br />
<br />
Aquino's mother, the late Corazon Aquino was the president after Marcos.</div>

Konting flashback para sa ibang hindi nakakakilala sa tinapay na ito. Ang totoo, hindi ko alam kung may itinitinda pang mga nutriban ngayon sa mga paaralan. Wala akong makita sa internetz ng tiyak na kasaysayan ng pagkaing ito pero ayon sa mga nakatatanda, ang nutribans ay ang solusyon para matugunan ang pangangailangan sa maayos na nutrisyon sa mga paaralan noong mga unang taon ng dekada setenta kung kailan nagkaroon ng malaking krisis ang ating bansa sa pagkain. Ang mga tinapay na ito ay gawa sa mga sangkap na donasyon mula sa mga bansang USA, Canada, at Australia. Noong una ay libre itong ipinamimigay sa mga paaralan pero nang lumaon ay ibinenta rin sa mas murang halaga. Kasing-laki raw ito ng monay na kasing-laki naman daw ng apat na pandesal.<br />

Hindi ko alam kung ang nutriban na naabutan ko noong ako ay bata pa ay ang nutriban ding natikman nina erpats at ermats noong administrasyon ni idol Makoy.<br />

NAPAKARAMI. Ito lang naman ay naging parte ng buhay-estudyante ko mula Grade 1 hanggang sa ako ay makapagtapos sa elementarya. Araw-araw na ginawa ni Bro, hindi siya nawawala sa canteen tray na inilalako sa bawat classroom. Kahit na nakapiring ako ay alam ko kung papakainin ako ng potang tinapay na ito dahil alam na alam ko ang lasa nito.<br />

Hindi kami pinapalabas ng silid kapag recess kaya may rasyong inihahatid ang canteen sa bawat section. Sa isang classroom, ang bilang na mag-aaral sa isang silid ay nasa kuwarenta noong panahon ko at sa isang canteen tray ay nandoon ang dalawampu't apat na piraso ng nutriban (isang dosena kada plastic). Maraming tindang puwedeng bilhin tulad ng nilagang itlog, nilagang saba, mga kakanin at iba pang mga nutrilicious na pagkain. Malayang nakakabili ng kung ano ang gusto ng bawa't isa pero panay ang paalala ni teacher na HINDI PUWEDENG MAY MATIRANG NUTRIBAN. Bawal. Isang kasalanan. Hindi ko alam kung bakit. Madali sigurong mapanis sa loob-loob ko.<br />

"Class, may natira pang mga nutribans dito, bilhin niyo na. Masarap ito..."<br />

Kapag ganito na ang banat ni ma'am, dedma na ang lahat - may yumuyuko, may tumitingin sa bintana, may biglang nagsasabi ng "Ma'am, may I go out?". Alam naman ng guro namin kung bakit ganito ang scenario. Alam niya kasing sawang-sawang-sawang-sawang-sawa na kami sa lasa ng walang kuwenta tinapay ng eskuwelahan.<br />

Ang malufet nito, kapag patay-malisya lang ang lahat ay ipapautang na ito ng sapilitan sa makukursunadahang estudyante ni teacher. Kapag minalas-malas ka nga naman ay wala kang magagawa kung hindi ang magpauto. Bukas nalang ang bayad o kaya kahit two-gives basta bilihin mo lang ang natirang limang nutribans. Kapag sa akin napapautang ito ay pumapayag nalang ako. Kunwari ay kakain ako ng isa pero ipamimigay ko sa mga katabi ko 'yung iba. Mas malas ka kung ayaw rin nilang tanggapin!<br />

Ang sabi ng aming mga guro, ang nutribans daw ay pampatalino at pampalakas. pampaguwapo at pampaganda. Pampabait at pampasaya.<br />

Pero kahit na gaaano kaganda ang pagpapakilala sa bread na ito, mahirap talaga siyang lunukin kapag nauumay ka na. Isama mo pa rito ang mga experiences mo sa mga buhok na madalas mong manguya mula sa tinapay; 'yung mga insektong sabi nila ay kuto (korean bug sa iba) ng mga lumang harina; at mga kuwentong habang ginagawa raw ito ay napapatakan ng pawis mula sa kili-kili ng panaderong nagmamasa ng harina nito. Ang sarap kainin,'di ba?<br />

Saan ba gawa ang nutriban? Noong maubos na ang mga donasyong imported na mga harina, wala na ang nakaalam kung ano ang pangunahing sangkap nito. Sabi nila, gawa daw ito sa giniling na soya. Hmmm, kaya pala ito ang ipinatatanim sa aming gardening. Hindi namin alam kung saan napupunta 'yung mga inaani naming soy beans.<br />

Para maibenta ang mga nutribans ay nakaisip ang canteen na gawin itong katakam-takam. Iba-iba ang klase nito kada araw. Lunes ay may pahid itong Star Margarine sa ibabaw. Martes, Star Margarine na may budbod ng second class na asukal. Mabenta ang unang dalawang araw dahil marami sa amin ang gustong tumangkad. Miyerkules ay may pahid ng kondensadang gatas na binudburan ng Milo. Matamis na bao naman kapag Huwebes. Special ang Biyernes dahil may pahid ito ng peanut butter na nabibili ng kilo-kilo sa palengke. Kapag wala sa mood si Manang Canteen ay "plain" lang ang pinapadalang rasyon. Paksyet, kailangan mong bumili ng sopas na malamig para may sawsawan ka ng walang-kuwentang tinapay na lasang amag! Para-paraan lang.<br />
<br />
Noong ako ay bata, pinapakain kami ng nutribun sa eskwelahan. Tingin ko, isa ito sa mga pagkaing nagbigay ng talino sa henerasyong kinabibilangan ko. Hindi tulad ngayon na instant noodles lang na punung-puno ng Ajinomoto ang ihinahain!</div>

<span style="font-size: large;">After that, Aquino would get a fellowship at,Harvard University, and live with Cory at the upper-class suburbia of Newton, Massachusetts in,an elegant two-storied brick house. “That was the happiest days of our lives,” his widow Cory would later say.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">In cruel contrast, Ninoy’s son, Benigno,3rd, has kept his predecessor, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who at 68 has a life-threatening illness, incarcerated,for three years now in a military hospital for baseless charges, which the United Nations Working Committee,on Arbitrary Detention has condemned as violating the grandmother’s legal and human,rights. Due to the utter disregard for her rights and the rule of law, the UN group even recommended,that Arroyo file for compensation for her arbitrary detention.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Indeed, after three years, neither a witness,nor a single document has been presented in court to support the government’s allegations that,Arroyo stole from the confidential funds of the sweepstakes office. In the other case filed against Arroyo, that of electoral sabotage – allegedly in the 2007 senatorial and local elections and not,in the 2004 presidential elections – no other witness has been presented to corroborate the sole testimony of one Norie Unas.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">And who is this guy? He is the city,administrator and, for decades, the right-hand man of Maguindanao governor Andal Ampatuan, Sr., the accused, with his son, as being the brains of the massacre of 58 people in that,province in 2009. Unas would have been among the dozens accused for the killings, if not for his false testimony against Arroyo.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">If only for this vindictive, petty president’s,disregard for the rule of law, his lack of the most basic sense of justice, and his moral depravity,in persecuting Arroyo, we should reject in 2016 his party and its candidate Manuel Roxas 2nd.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">This candidate’s lack of any moral sense is,demonstrated in the fact that despite his decades of friendship with the former President, despite her,total support for him in her Cabinet, and even as he knows in his heart that Arroyo is innocent,of the charges, Roxas has not lifted a finger to convince Aquino not to persecute her. Why? Because he can’t afford to lose Aquino’s support for his all-consuming bid to be President.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Ninoy’s son, Aquino 3rd, assaulted the,independent branch of government that is the bastion of a republican democracy’s rule of law: the,Supreme Court. He launched an impeachment lynch mob to remove its Chief Justice, Renato Corona, from office. Why? In order to get the Court to agree to a billion pesos more in compensation,for his clan’s Hacienda Luisita, even if the Tribunal under Corona had ruled that its land reform,program during Cory’s Administration was bogus.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Marcos’ son, Ferdinand (“Bongbong”) Jr., defended,the Supreme Court, and voted to acquit Corona. He was one of only three senators (the other two,being the late Joker Arroyo and Miriam Defensor-Santiago) who refused to be bribed, who refused,to buckle under the lynch mob that included even award-winning journalists.</span><br />

He ordered garrisons stationed on the islands, especially on the biggest isle Pag-Asa, where he ordered an airstrip built.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Aquino 3rd lost Philippine territory when he,foolishly ordered Philippine ships in May 2012 to leave Scarborough Shoal, believing the report of his,special envoy, Sen. Antonio Trillanes 4th or his foreign secretary, Albert del Rosario, (the two,would later blame each other) that the Chinese had agreed to the simultaneous withdrawal of ships. They didn’t, and probably just laughed at this President’s gullibility. Now, their,vessels simply shoo away our vessels and fishermen still kilometers away from the shoal’s mouth.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Aquino has done nothing to stop the erosion,and start the repair of the airstrip Marcos had built, so that eventually its usable length could only allow the smallest of planes to land on the area.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Marcos convinced the Philippine ruling class,to lend the government their support by successfully leading the local economy through the 1970s oil crisis largely unscathed, which gave it enough momentum to grow a phenomenal 9 percent by 1973. That drove GDP growth to average an impressive 6.2 percent from 1972 to the 1979 apex of his regime.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Aquino 3rd has won the support,of a big segment of the ruling class, not because of his anti-corruption crusade, nor any economic reform he has engineered. It is because he has done nothing to derail the growth momentum Arroyo achieved during her term and the trust of the global community she earned for the country when she steered the,economy through the worst global economic crisis that raged from 2008 to 2009.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">The Philippines under Arroyo was the only country, in Asia that still managed some growth in those tumultuous years. Under Aquino, the country’s relatively high growth rates have been due to the fact that his is the only Administration in this,country that had the fortune of not having to go through any global economic catastrophe.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">That high growth rate from 1972 to 1979 – was achieved at the cost of the dismantling of our institutions of democracy, which we still haven’t been able to rebuild.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Similarly, growth in our economy over,the past five years has been at the cost of a megalomaniac President damaging our democratic institutions.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Similarly, Aquino 3rd now uses the newspapers,that replaced the Marcos newspapers and the ABS-CBN Network, which his mother helped to resuscitate to support his regime. One leading broadsheet very loyally has taken up every single political,campaign Aquino has launched as its own crusade – from removing then Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez, impeaching Chief Justice Corona, jailing opposition figures for the misuse of their pork barrel funds, and even fabricating corruption charges against Vice President Jejomar Binay to,weaken his candidacy in the 2016 presidential elections.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Marcos closed down media; Aquino controls the minds of media, which do not even realize it.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">This is one of the biggest reasons why there,is no public outrage over Aquino’s turpitudes such as his ruthless incarceration of Arroyo; the corruption at the MRT-3 that has made a hell out of millions of Filipinos’ daily commute; the massive,smuggling that even our poor farmers are being outpriced by imported agricultural products; the massacre of 44 of our elite troops in Mamasapano because of this President’s criminal bungling; his government’s incompetence,in relief operations for victims of the Yolanda Super Typhoon and the amazing dearth of news reports on jueteng, the billions of pesos it generates to line the pockets of government,officials, and criminals’ rampage across the land that sows fear and uncertainty among members of all strata of society in this country.</span></div>

I start a daily written record of my second term in office as President. This will be kept in loose-leaf so that all kinds of materials may be attached to the binder. Thus the background should be a treatise on the elections of 1969. This will be composed of my critique as well as the commentaries on the technique of victory.<br />

New Year – Left Ising’s Party for VP Agnew and the Foreign Ministers at 11:00 PM so that we could welcome New Year with the children. They were trying out the Bocaue sparklers at the garden and fountain in front of the main gate. Hope we did not break Ising’s party as VP and Mrs. Agnew followed us home and he tried a few sparklers himself before he went to bed.<br />
<br />
Mass at 12:40 – Sleep at 1:30 AM. Woke up at 7:00; back to bed to wake up and talk to VP and Mrs. Agnew up to 9:00 AM.<br />

Yesterday I finally transferred all of my worldly possessions to the Filipino people through the Ferdinand E. Marcos Foundation. I have been planning this for many years but I felt that the beginning of my second term was the most propitious time. This was a decision arrived at after a long deliberation and was not the result of pique, anger, despair or emotion – Nor is it due to a sense of guilt because some the funds come from the Yamashita treasure – Nor is it just a political stunt. I have no further political plans.<br />
<br />
And it seems a burden has been lifted from my shoulders.<br />
<br />
The surprising thing is that the reaction of the people seem to be of no consequence to me. It was a noble act waiting to be done. I feel I am above all the pettiness of men and I look down on them with some contempt but with a counterbalance of understanding.<br />

I have today given away by general instrument of transfer all my worldly possessions to the Filipino people through a foundation to be organized known as the Marcos Foundation.<br />
<br />
Moved by the strongest desire and the purest will to set the example of self-denial and self-sacrifice for all our people, I have today decided to give away all my worldly possessions so that they may serve the greater needs of the greater number of our people.<br />
<br />
It is my wish that these properties will be used in advancing education, science, technology and the arts.<br />
<br />
This act I undertake of my own free will, knowing that my need of material possessions will, having always been a simple man, my needs will always be lesser that those of many of our people, who have given me the highest honor within their gift, an honor unshared by any one of my predecessors and not likely to be shared by any one else in the future no other Filipino leader.<br />
<br />
Since about a year ago, I have asked my closest some of very my closest confidants to study the mechanics of this decision. Today studies have been completed, and a foundation will be formed to administer these properties and all funds that may be generated therefrom.<br />
<br />
My wife, Imelda, is in agreement with this decision. Provisions will be made for my children, so that they shall be assured of satisfactory education and be prepared to meet their lifetime duties and endeavors.<br />

Duterte said Bongbong’s impressive showing in the election, where he lost to Leni Robredo by a hairline amid allegation of fraud, could be an indication that the so-called ‘Marcos trauma’ from martial law years is gone.<br />

Despite the heavy rain and some areas covered with floods in Metro Manila, hundreds of people along with other personalities continued to protest against the planned burial of the late President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani. The rally was held at the Rizal Park, Luneta.<br />

Some of the personalities who have attended the Anti-Marcos burial rally are from Liberal Party: Mar Roxas, Senator Risa Hontiveros, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, Sen. Leila de Lima, Sen. Bam Aquino, former Sen. Wigberto Tanada and former Commission on Human Rights Chair Etta Rosales.<br />

These senators from Liberal Party has one thing in common that made them join the rally, they all believed that the late President Ferdinand Marcos do not deserve to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani since he was a dictator and many people in the past had suffered during the Martial Law.<br />

These Liberal Party members were not satisfied in joining the rally, hence they also expressed their opinion through their social media accounts.<br />
