Chinese state television claimed that the bananas were,substandard as results of excessive pesticide. Two batches of the cargo apparently,had pests in them. The pests were known to be Dysmicoccus Neobrevipes (Beardsley). Chinese destroyed,the bananas for precautionary measure, in order to protect their fruits and,vegetables from possibilities of bug spread.</div>
