Madam VP, real talk.
Whether or not you are "silenced" is irrelevant to ordinary Filipinos. Wala na rin kaming masyadong pakialam sa opinyon mo because very few people believe in you anymore. You have diluted your own power and your own effectiveness by talking about the most mundane, most walang kakuwenta kuwenta things. Iba ang legit opposition sa pagiging mema.
And, Madam, please dont overstate your own voice's importance. LP is bigger than you. If you do decide to shut up and be a cooperative member of this government for once, LP will find another rallying figure to go against Duterte in its quest to powergrab. Hindi sayo nagsimula, at hindi rin sayo magtatapos, ang kagahaman, kapalpakan, kasinungalingan, kasalbahian ng Liberal Party. Pag nawala ka man, dahil sirang sira ka na, hahanap ang LP ng ipapalit sayo ng magiging "Voice of Mema." You are just one person in a long line of witless people LP will use.
So you being silent? Nobody really cares because wala ng karat ang salita mo. You are just LP's puppet, and if you shut up, LP will look for another puppet. That's the truth.
