“Consider your positions vacant as of this hour.” Duterte said in press conference in Davao City, he was referring to Government appointed officials “especially in the regulatory agencies,”.
“Your are giving headaches to fellow human beings.” Duterte said.
Vacant Positions In Thousands
Duterte reiterated that all presidential appointees within the bureaucracy are affected and the number of vacancies will be in “thousands”.
“Until now, in my provincial visits, I still hear corruption being committed,” Duterte stressed.
The President ordered the current head of the LTFRB to report to him in Malacañang.
Duterte also pointed out the head of the LTO and all presidential appointees in the agency.
He clarified that career officials and employees were not included in the order.
