Despite the heavy rain and some areas covered with floods in Metro Manila, hundreds of people along with other personalities continued to protest against the planned burial of the late President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani. The rally was held at the Rizal Park, Luneta.
Some of the personalities who have attended the Anti-Marcos burial rally are from Liberal Party: Mar Roxas, Senator Risa Hontiveros, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, Sen. Leila de Lima, Sen. Bam Aquino, former Sen. Wigberto Tanada and former Commission on Human Rights Chair Etta Rosales.
These senators from Liberal Party has one thing in common that made them join the rally, they all believed that the late President Ferdinand Marcos do not deserve to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani since he was a dictator and many people in the past had suffered during the Martial Law.
These Liberal Party members were not satisfied in joining the rally, hence they also expressed their opinion through their social media accounts.
