As of now, the Abu Sayyaf is still holding the Malaysian, Japanese, Dutch, Norwegian and Filipino hostages. According to President Rodrigo Duterte, this might be the most terrible problem during his three to six years.

In addition to that, Duterte reminds these groups that he’s just giving warnings, he will only fight for ISIS if they continue to kill people and destroy our country.
I am not insinuating things. I am just warning people, do not test my patience. I would never never allow my country to be destroyed by terrorism and illegal drugs. As I said, I have put at stake my honor, my life and the presidency itself.
I am warning you ISIS do not do it here because I will never allow my country to be destroyed. I am determined as anybody else in fighting you.
