1. It wasn’t isis. Boohoo conspiracy theorists

According to the reports, PNP Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa confirmed that the gunman who still unidentified is clearly not connected with any terrorist group.

Several conspiracy theorist claimed that the government is behind the attack to declare martial law in Manila and they labeled it as #TanimTerorista

2. There were 2 gunmen, both 6 feet tall. Very likely to be foreign. Only ONE was violent

Police is not yet confirming if the suspect got a partner in crime during the attack in the resorts world.

But the authorities said that the suspect didn’t owned the car that he used to travel to Resorts World Manila and according to them they already traced the house of the car’s owner.

Some eyewitness said that they saw many armed men attacked the Casino, but Dela Rosa said that the victims might also in panic during that times and they thought that the SWAT team who responded in the area are associated with the suspect.

The COO of Resorts World Manila, Stephen Reilly also refuted the claims that there are two gunmen committed the crime and they confirmed that there’s only one suspect.

3. They didnt shoot at people. They stole 130m worth of chips, set fires to tables, shot a large monitor

Authorities confirmed that no one died because of gunshot wounds and the suspect only destroyed LCDs and gambling tables. The authorities also said that the exact amount of the chips that the suspect stole worth P113-M.

4. The people went on a stampede. Broke windows to escape, jumped from the 2nd floor. This is where the injuries came from.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that there’s a stampede happened that caused some minor injuries to the victims and some of them saw jumped from the 2nd floor and 3rd floor causing them to broke their bones.

5. The 2nd floor casino is for the VIPs and high rollers. Possibly an inside job knowing how tight security is based from people that work there. Casinos are highly secured compared to your typical establishment.

The authorities is not yet announced that there’s an inside job involved in the incident. But they said that the suspect who carried a heavy firearm didn’t stopped by the female security personnel who guarded the entrance of the parking lot.

6. The place is on lockdown. No exit or entry up to 3 blocks away

Resorts World Manila announced that the whole building is on lockdown while the police operations are not done yet.

7. The robbers are dead. It wasnt isis. It wasnt dudut’s fault. Though, feel free to go on about your intelligent and fantastical political theories. Because apart from actually worrying about the people who were directly affected, you have nothing better to do but think of bad things to happen

Yeah, always on the lookout for something/someone to blame. Rather than, you know, actually looking for a solution. F****** political theorists 😄

PNP Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa said that it’s impossible to get an intel about the surprise attack committed by a crazy person. The government was also cleared in the investigation because Resorts World Hotel is guarded by private security personnel. The management of the casino also allegedly didn’t reported the incident quickly to the cops.

8. At least 30 people found dead. All by suffocation due to the stampede, not by the shooting. Rest In Peace brothers and sisters

As of writing, there are already 37 reportedly found dead inside the hotel and one of them is the suspect.

9. (how the gunman died) he doused himself in gasoline and set himself on fire. He literally went down in flames.

NCRPO confirmed that the suspect set himself on fire inside one of the rooms of the building, they also saw a gunshot in his head, an evidence that he shot himself while being ignited.

10. The gunman, also a VIP Highroller (which prolly what granted him access to the VIP floor which is 2F), recently lost 100m. This was his attempt to win back those losses.

According to the investigation, the suspect lost his sanity because of being addicted to gambling. He also might lost so much money that made him to stole casino chips worth P113-M. The casino chips were recovered by the authorities inside a comfort room.
