To all reggae lovers out there, seems like the,Philippines has its own version of Bob Marley in this 35 year old reggae singer who,impressed everyone, especially the coaches of “The Voice of the Philippines” Season 2. When he sang the song of Matisyahu “One day” during the blind audition.
He is Kokoi Baldo from Boracay,who had a 4 chair turned from the 4 judges. He is really an avid fan of the famous Bob Marley that he even had his hair dreadlock one of the,signature looks of Bob Marley and he just sounded,the same as the reggae singer.
He was humbly barefooted during his,performance and his family was his inspiration,why he joined the show.
Coach Lea described his performance as “Halimaw” or a monstrous performance.
And I enjoyed most of his performance,when the coaches jammed with him in a song. That was so amazing…
