A daughter of a former regional trial judge and doctor, Lorraine Marie T. Badoy called Vice President Leni Robredo an "Ambassadress of Badwill" for maligning the country over her personal issue to the administration.
On her Facebook post, Badoy criticized Robredo over her continuing attack to President Rodrigo Duterte.
Badoy known as Duterte supporters expressed her thoughts over Robredo. Sarcastically, she congratulated Robredo for doing a good job as an outspoken critic of Duterte. But also for maligning the country to the entire world.
In the end, eto pala ang bagong trabaho ni Leni Robredo: Ambassadress of Badwill. Sariling bansa sisiraan sa mundo. At sariling bansa pababagsakin. Finally, nakahanap din ng area of competence nya. Good job, Madam VP slash Ambassadress of Badwill!
Also, some Robredo's critics rant on Facebook for she is not helping anything but only destroying the administration of her attacks.
Robredo made another statement, she was asking the “millennial” generation to
fight for the country without using violence.
Recently, Robredo was disinvited to 'vin d'honneur' or wine of honour.
Robredo reacted right away. She said it was okay but just sought for respect for the Office of the Vice President citing the manner on how the invite was retracted via text message.
Presidential Communications Office Secretary Martin Andanar also responded to it.
“It's his [Duterte’s] house and just like any homeowner kung hindi mo naman kasundo ang iyong i-invite why would you invite? Sabi ko nga kanina sa interview, awkward ‘di ba?,” Andanar said.
