During the senate press conference on Thursday morning, Trillanes said that Tulfo who became his fiercest critics must apologize for his offensive remarks against the senator.
“We would be demanding a public apology from Mr. Erwin Tulfo and Radyo 5 for the malicious statements na ginawa laban sa akin to preclude any further legal action,” Trillanes told Senate reporters in a press conference Thursday, April 6.
He also said that they carried an evidence that would debunk all the allegations of Guillermina against him, including a video recording shows their meeting with Guillermina Barrido Arcillas.
But Guillermina claims that she instructed to memorize the affidavit allegedly created by Atty. Jude Sabio before meeting them in Manila.
Tulfo lambasted Trillanes in his morning radio progam in radyo singko on Thursday after the davao businesswoman Guillermina Barrido Arcillas revealed that the senator allegedly paid his witnesses to stood up against President Rodrigo Duterte.
“Hi Senator Trillanes gising! What’s happening? Sana po mamaya maipaliwanag ninyo.. eh alam ko na ho ang sasabihin niyo sasabihin niyo na nagsisinungaling ang babaeng ito at hindi niyo kilala, Pupusta ako, pupusta ako ng aking sweldo” Tulfo said in his radio program.
In his radio program, he also gave a suggestion to Senator Manny Pacquiao to file a resolution to investigate the claims of Guillermina against Trillanes.
He also asked Pacquiao if Trillanes committed a violation in the senate ethics code of conduct for allegedly bribing his witnesses.
“Batid ko nga na may ginawang paglabag, kasi magdadala ka ng testigo tapos susuhulan mo,eh wala hong katotohanan yan” He said.
Tulfo criticized the Edgar Matobato and Arthur Lascañas that backed by senator Antonio Trillanes IV to reveal the alleged crimes of President Rodrigo Duterte.
“It’s very unfair for President Rodrigo Duterte, na gagawan gawan ng kwento. Kagaya nyan.. kagaya nitong si Matobato.. kagaya nitong si Lascañas..itong dalawa na ito na bidang bida sa mga foreign media.. pinapaniwalaan ng foreign media.. eh yun pala nasuhulan itong mga buang na ito,” he said.
He also believes that Guillermina was the one who labeled by Trillanes as the “new witness” that would reveal more information about President Duterte.
“Nako sir, bistado ka na boss! bistado ka na sa mga kalokohan mo na yan, yang mga panunuhol na yan,” Tulfo said.
Trillanes claims that Tulfo attacked him several times in his radio show.
