In accordance with Section 9 of Republic Act No. 10533 or also known as the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, Senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino filed Senate Bill 170 or “Trabaho Center in School Acts. It aims to help not only college graduates but also senior high school graduates who want to support their family.
While we work on equipping our graduates with the adequate skills to join the work force, let us also bridge the gap between education and employment.
If the Senate Bill 170 of Sen. Bam Aquino will pass the law, those Trabaho Centers will focus on career counselling services, employment facilitation, and industry matching. In terms of the industry matching set by Aquino, it will address the employment requirements needed by the companies to make a list of students’ profiles.
