In order to ease the irrevocable traffic problems,in Metro Manila, Japan said they will fund the Philippines for the new railway with $2.4 billion for the 38-kilometer,commuter line that will connect Manila to Bulacan province.

According to Japan’s foreign ministry, Masato Ohtaka,in a press conference, $2.4 billion funds for the Philippines is one of the biggest projects they have,embarked through the loan yen which is payable for 40 years.

Japan is also willing to build a railway in the southern,region of Mindanao, whereas President Duterte admitted that China was,the first one to propose to fund it.

Japan sympathize with the people of our,country each day that passes by and they need to endure long lines and overcrowded trains that,sometimes lead those lines to have technical problems.

Railways are one of our fortes, we sympathise with,the Filipinos that this is a project that needs to be done very, very quickly.

Ohtaka also vowed to donate some of the,coast guard vessels and leasing aircraft to support the Philippines’ military and maritime capabilities.

Just like our country, Japan is also in a current,dispute with China due to uninhabited islets located in the East China Sea.
