The remains of the late Ferdinand Marcos is about to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig on September 18.
This is what Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos revealed in a statement saying that their family is now completing the requirements for the the interent right and military honors of the head of their family.
He also revealed that it was the president himself, President Duterte, who gave the go-signal for the hero's burial. This was one of the controversies that Duterte had to face as a candidate as many have been opposing the said burial for the late dictator.
Meanwhile, Imee Marcos is organizing the ceremony in Ilocos where the remains are to be brought first to Sarrat at Paoay to honor their Ilocos supporters and to give him a 21-gun salute and funeral cortege care of the Sandatahang Lakas.
When asked about as to why the burial is happening on September 18 instead of his birthdate of September 11, she says that they wanted another celebration for their father.
