Vhon Tanto Quiapo Road Rage Slay Suspect Captured in Masbate

Vhon Tanto, the main suspect in the road rage slay of cyclist Mark Vincent Geralde, was reportedly,captured in Masbate on friday morning.

According to GMA News, elements of Philippine Army intelligence operatives arrested Tanto around 11:40 am in Brgy. Poblacion East in Milagros town.

Tanto, an Army reservist, was clearly identified by the witnesses through social media as the owner of Hyundai Eon seen on CCTV footage who shot and killed Geralde after a fleeting fistfight over minor altercation along P. Casal St. Quiapo, Manila.

Padilla said Tanto did not resist arrest when authorities seized him.

Spokesperson Col. Benjamin Hao said, 

"The arrest also proves that we do not condone any wrongdoing committed by any member of our organization,"

"We do not tolerate any,scalawags, and we make sure that those who committed a crime shall be dealt with accordingly," he added.

Earlier, Manila Mayor Estrada,and Caloocan Mayor Calapitan offered both 100k reward to hasten the arrest of Tanto.
