<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Remembering the aggressive campaign mantra of President Rodrigo Duterte to eradicate crimes and illegal drugs, USA Today reports that he is doing good with his promise of killing 100,000 criminals. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Quoting from what USA,Today wrote, it says "he has left a bloody trail of drug world executions that is drawing alarm from human rights,groups and opposition politicians.”</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
According to data, from 72 alleged drug,dealers killed on the exact day of President Rodrigo Duterte's Inauguration, it has now gone up to 119. Vigilante killings,has also became quite bothering as 9 people have been killed as police,reported in which some of them has cardboards hung on their neck with statements like "Snatcher ako" or "Drug Pusher ako, wag tularan"</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Aside from the immensely dismayed,Commission on Human Rights leg of the country, it has also caught the attention of the International Rights groups. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
In a statement by Phelim Kine, the group's Adia deputy,director, he said "The killings has,also drawn the attention of the International rights groups “Human Rights Watch is concerned that,President Duterte’s electoral platform, which included repeated promises to kill those deemed,to be criminals and drug dealers, may be interpreted by some as a legitimization of the unlawful,concept of extrajudicial killings as an acceptable approach to crime control. Not only does each,case need to be investigated, but it’s crucial there be an inquiry into the surge in killings,since June 30 and action taken to put an end to it.”</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Human rights lawyer and,national chairman of the Free Legal Assistance Group statements were also highlighted in the,article by the USA Today saying "Do we really want to give the man with the gun the power to judge,who are criminals and to kill them? To decide who is bad and who is good, who deserves to,live and who deserves to die?”</div>

In a Facebook post Piñol described how the president told his cabinet members to call him ‘Rody’ instead of “Your Excellency”, Piñol was inspired by how simple the President is and how he leads by example in living a simple lifestyle.<br />
<br />
This is what Piñol said in the Facebook post:<br />
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
“Following protocol, I started my presentation with the usual courtesies for President Rody Duterte and the members of the Cabinet.” Piñol explained adding “‘Your Excellency, members of the Cabinet …,’<br />
I said as I began to explain why, in the face of the unpredictability of climate, the country must strive to attain not only rice self-sufficiency but establish a 6-month buffer stock.”<br />
“Halfway through my presentation and as I kept repeating “Your Excellency” to address President Duterte, I noticed that he pulled a piece of paper and a ballpen from Finance Secretary Sonny Dominguez.” Piñol continued.</blockquote>
<br />
A note from Duterte<br />
What happened next surprised and inspired Piñol which led to the creation of the Facebook post.<br />
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
After scribbling something on the piece of paper, President Duterte pushed it to Sec. Dominguez who passed it on to me.<br />
Pausing from my presentation to read the Presidential note, I saw the message:<br />
“Stop addressing me Your Excellency. Just call me Rody,” the note from the President said.<br />
I chuckled and told him: “Sorry, Mr. President.”</blockquote>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: start;">
Just like in school, Duterte made a note and asked a friend to pass it to the person next to him, this shows how Duterte live a life just like any other.</div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
Piñol reiterated that protocol dictates all cabinet members to address Duterte as “Mr. President” but he recognized how the President wants to live a simple lifestyle and he’s leading by example.</div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
President Duterte is President Ordinary.</div>
<div style="text-align: start;">

Also seized were 975 kilos of ephedrine, an ingredient used to make drugs.<br />
<br />
Merdegia said the ephedrine could be used to produce some 300 kilos of shabu in one week.<br />
<br />
A second operation in Barangay San Jose in San Fernando City yielded more than 100 kilos of drugs. Arrested was a Chinese woman said to be Jason Lee's wife.<br />
<br />
The report quoted PDEA head Arturo Cacdac Jr. as saying the raid stemmed from a tip on illegal drug operations in the area.<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Faith in humanity restored. This video would,make you believe in redemption than in retribution after inmates from Texas jail broke out of their,cells to save their jail guard's life. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
The CCTV captured the intense moment at,the courthouse. Eight inmates were extremly concerned when one of the jail guards suddenly,fell and went unconscious. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
When they realized that he was no longer,breathing, they immediately acted to help and even tried to use radio to call for help. One of the inmates,named Nick Kelton said "He just fell over. Looked like an act. Could have died right there,".</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
But when nobody responded from the radio, they,tried to call the attention of the the other jail guards who were upstairs to come. When Parker,Country Sheriff's Sgt. Ryan Speegle arrived to help, he was baffled at first what to think of the situation. One,of the inmates named Floyd Smith, admitted that some officers thought that,they were trying to escape. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Surprisingly, these inmates turned out to be,heroes as they were breaking out not to escape but to actually help the jail guard who,was then having a hear attack.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
"He was just talking to them, and he just kind,of collapsed. As soon as the jailer went down, they started to yell. He stopped breathing. They couldn't,find a pulse on him." said Capt. Mark Arnett of the Parker County Sheriff's Office. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
The inmates were convicted due to assault and some were proven to be using illegal substance.</div>
