Allan Amaro, a resident of Barangay Batuhan, Masbate City, was held by lawmen on Friday as the prime suspect in the r*pe of his four daughters.
PO3 Mary Ann Berano of Masbate City’s Women and Children Protection Desk of Masbate police claimed that Amaro has been s*xually abusing his daughters.
The crime was revealed after Amaro’s 5-year old daughter told a worker of Batuhan Elementary School that she was escaping from her father who was trying to harass her again. Amaro was reportedly r*ping his daughters aged 15, 13, 10, and 5.
According to PO3 Berano, the 13 and 10-year old victims were also harassed s*xually by their aunt’s husband. The unnamed uncle allegedly provided them money so they would not say a word about what happened. The uncle already went to Manila weeks ago.
After going over some series of tests, two of the four children were suspected to be pregnant. Their grandmother told the police that the mother of the kids also experienced abuse from Amaro. Amaro did his heinous crime whenever his wife is away to work at the town of Mandaon. The police are now working with the kids’ mother for further investigation about the case.
Amaro is now facing a lawsuit case of 4 counts of r*pe after violating the Republic Act 8853 or the Anti-Rape Law of 1997.
